Globalization and Climate Change: In Pursuit of a Better World

Global Education Track

Institutions of higher education routinely champion the making of globally-aware graduates, and internationalization has become a strong trend in our scholarly and pedagogical endeavors. Papers and presentations in this topic area will focus on theories and practices supporting global education as manifested in many ways: through study abroad programs, language and culture studies, curricular initiatives, service-learning or community engagement, discipline-specific initiatives, funding programs, internationalization support services, intercultural or transnational studies, and other activities. Proposal abstracts may describe theories or practices that support, or that complicate and critique, our  understanding and action concerning global education in research, in classroom curricula, or on institutional and administrative levels, in any field of academic endeavor.
