 Globalization and Climate Change: In Pursuit of a Better World


Legal Issues Track


The Global Awareness Society International invites scholars of public law, environmental law, administrative law, international law, as well as practitioners, administrators, and policy makers within these fields to submit an abstract for the GASI 2020 International Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, May 21-24, 2020.  Paper abstracts should broadly fit within the conference theme, “Globalization and Climate Change: In Pursuit of a Better World."  We warmly welcome submissions to our legal track and envision such papers will explore, among other provocative topics, the regulation of businesses and industries, trade laws and their impact on environmental regulation, the conservation of biodiversity, the legal framework of environmental protection and restoration, the impact of foreign investment on local environments and efforts to curtail harmful externalities, and immigration and national security laws affecting displaced persons during times of natural disasters, warfare, and political persecution. .
